STACS Connected is your exclusive community hub tailored for teachers who are dedicated to delivering Computing Science education in Scottish schools from early years to secondary. This platform offers a collaborative space for all STACS members residing in Scotland who are either Primary and Secondary teachers. 

To be eligible to join, you must:

- Hold GTCS registration in any subject.
- Be signed up to stacs.scot
- Responsible for delivery of Computing Science, and those interested in the delivery.

PGDE student teachers please email us and we will get you added. 
Non-school educators who are actively supporting Computing Science at school level please email us to explore how you can support.

Inside, there is a Computing Science-specific community — a modern, private space for educators to generate new ideas, get support, connect, and collaborate with ease.

There's a huge wealth of talent, knowledge, and skills in the teaching community. We have so many incredible individuals doing fantastic work around Computing Science, from Early Years to Advanced Higher who are working hard to promote the subject, create excellent opportunities for pupils, and inspire the next generation into Computing Science.

STACS Connected is creating a space for teachers delivering Computing Science to connect, collaborate, share ideas, access support and best practice, and share their knowledge and skills with the community. This will help avoid reinventing the wheel, and give you easy access to a supportive network of peers for advice and collaboration.  

Together, we can work towards the shared mission of closing the gender gap, increasing uptake, and inspiring more pupils into Computing Science and the tech sector. The tech sector is vital for Scotland's economy, and that journey starts in the classroom! We look forward to meeting and working with you.
